State of the City Luncheon – Postponed
Palm Desert State of the City Lunch has been postponed! The Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce, along with its partner the City of Palm Desert has decided to postpone the March 20 annual event.
400 guests were registered to attend the event featuring Mayor Gina Nestande. The Governor along with both the State and County health agencies have indicated that all public events with large numbers of people will not be held during the month of March. Both the City of Palm Desert and our Chamber puts the public’s health first. A new date will soon be selected for this event.
We recognize the hardship this virus has caused people around the world. Our rally to everyone in this valley is to buy locally and give your Amazon account a rest. The Coachella Valley is open for business and our business community will continue to take the necessary safety precautions and set the standard in keeping safe environments for shoppers and diners as they go about their day to day business in paradise.
The State of the City Luncheon at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa is an opportunity for local business and community members to learn what is happening in the City of Palm Desert. Keynote speakers vary each year, but will always include the current Mayor. Attendees include officials from the City of Palm Desert and local legislators.
As one of the largest and most affluent cities in the Coachella Valley, Palm Desert’s influence has a significant impact on local business, the county and state. Each year the Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the State of the City Luncheon.
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with city officials, city management and executives from top businesses throughout the Coachella Valley. This event is open to the public.
