Coachella Valley Rescue Mission to Host National Day of Prayer Event with Community Leaders

Indio, CA – The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission invites the community to a special National Day of Prayer gathering on Thursday, May 1st. The event, held at CVRM’s facility, will feature a full breakfast at 7:00 AM followed by a powerful time of prayer and worship beginning at 8:00 AM. It is free and open to the public

Local pastors and faith leaders will lead prayers for our nation, community, government, churches, families, and those in need. This event provides an opportunity for unity and spiritual renewal as individuals from all walks of life come together in prayer.

"At CVRM, we believe in the power of prayer to transform lives, bring hope, and strengthen our community," said Darla Burkett, Executive Director. "This National Day of Prayer is a time for us to come together and lift up those who are struggling in our city and across our nation."

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance established by Congress in 1952, encouraging Americans to unite in prayer for the country. This year’s theme, "Pour out to the God of hope and be filled", serves as a reminder of our shared faith and purpose.
