Coachella Valley Rescue Mission to Host Annual Easter Meal Service on Sunday, April 20
Indio, CA – Coachella Valley Rescue Mission is excited to welcome the community to its Annual Easter Meal Service on Sunday, April 20, offering a warm and welcoming place for anyone in need. The Mission anticipates serving more than 2,500 meals throughout the day and is calling on the community for support through food donations, particularly hams and other essential meal items. The Easter meal service will include:
Breakfast: Served from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Dinner: Served from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Easter Baskets for Children: Generously donated by members of the community
“At CVRM, Easter is a time of renewal, hope, and community,” said Darla Burkett, Executive Director of CVRM. “This special meal is about more than just food—it’s about providing a sense of dignity and belonging to those who may be struggling. We are grateful for the generosity of our supporters who make it possible to serve thousands of meals to those in need.”
How You Can Help
CVRM is currently accepting donations of hams, canned vegetables, dinner rolls, desserts, and other meal items to help make this event possible. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated and will go directly toward feeding individuals and families in need. Donations can be dropped off at CVRM,47470 Van Buren St. in Indio, during business hours, or financial contributions can be made online at www.cvrm.org.
This event is open to everyone, and no one will be turned away.
