The federal government COVID-19 Task Force, under the direction of President Trump has relaxed enforcement of HIPAA compliance regulations.  This means that patient advocates can utilize industry standard visual communication to service their clients during this pandemic.  We can use applications that allow for video chats, such as Apple Face Time, Facebook Messenger video chat, Google Hangouts video or Skype.  This allows patient advocates to be able to continue to service their clients during this healthcare crisis.
