Earlier in September, Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa along with its sister property, Spa Resort Casino in downtown Palm Springs, took home a combined 29 wins for Casino Player magazine’s 2018 Best of Gaming awards. The seven top honors this year for Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa included “Best Overall Gaming Resort,” “Best Casino,” “Best Hotel,” “Best Suite,” “Best Video Poker,” “Best Hotel Lobby,” and “Best Carnival Games.” The resort was awarded second place wins for “Best Rooms,” “Best Promotions,” “Best Table Game Tournaments,” “Best Poker Tournaments,” “Best Craps,” “Casino Where You Feel The Luckiest,” “Best VIP Services,” and “Best High Limit Room”; and third place wins for “Best Spa,” “Favorite Casino Resort to Vacation at,” “Best Comps,” and “Best Dealers.”
Previous awards and accolades received by Agua Caliente include three International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA) Industry Award nominations for “Casino of the Year,” including most recently for 2018; three Academy of Country Music Industry Award nominations for “Casino of the Year – Small Capacity,” including most recently for 2018; the G2E Global Gaming Conference Entertainment Awards’ “Best Casino Showroom/Theater of the Year” in 2014; and Pollstar magazine’s “Best New Major Concert Venue” in 2009.
